Now that we know who will play Peter Parker, the Lizard and Gwen Stacy, Sony Pictures has announced the actor for Uncle Ben: Martin Sheen. Sheen is best known for his rolls in Wall Street, The West Wing and The Departed. Uncle Ben famously tells Peter Parker, “With great power comes great responsibility,” which becomes the turning point for Spider-man. It’s currently unknown how large of a role Martin Sheen will have in the film as Uncle Ben has always died and thus turned into the catalyst for Spider-man to fight crime.
