On the next PlayStation Store update, PS Plus subscribers will get a healthy dose of Capcom deals that will definitely please Resident Evil fans. This coming Tuesday, PS+ members can purchase Resident Evil 4 HD for a cheap $9.99. That’s half off the original price! And on the day of its release! Those who don’t have the membership can still download the game for $19.99. (A great price for one of the best action games of last generation.)

As if a half price discount to RE4 wasn’t enough, Capcom has also announced that Resident Evil: Director’s Cut, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3 will be free to download to those who have PS Plus memberships.

But don’t feel left out—Capcom did mention that those who don’t have PS+ memberships can still download the three classic RE games (1,2, and 3) at 50% off the normal price.

There was a time when gamers were starting to get tired of the Resident Evil franchise. From spin-offs like Gun Survivor, Outbreak, and Dead Aim, people believed that the franchise was on its last legs. Then Capcom released Resident Evil 4, a game changer that put gamers deep into the action of survival horror. RE4 went on to win numerous game of the year awards; with many calling it the best game of the decade.
