This week’s going to be big for PlayStation Vita fans, as the long awaited Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Vita-exclusive Gravity Rush are set to release later today.
Vita owners have been anticipating the summer rush of games for their new handheld. It started a few weeks ago with the release of Resistance: Burning Skies and will continue with the gravity bending platformer Gravity Rush along with the sneaking heavy MGS HD Collection.
Find out more about Gravity Rush and MGS HD Collection after the break.
Gravity Rush – Prepare yourself for a new perspective in Gravity Rush. Take gravity into your own hands as you take the role of a heroine seeking her past and the means to protect her future in a world that’s falling apart. Shift from streets to walls and buildings as you manipulate gravity to save a city from its enemies and perils.
Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection – Accept the mission and play three great chapters in the Metal Gear franchise with the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Included are in this PlayStation Vita package are Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. As a bonus, the original MSX games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake are included, showcasing Snake’s very first missions!
Don’t get your hopes up too much as the Vita collection is a bit slimmer than its PS3 counterpart; it has been confirmed that Peace Walker will not be part of the bundle. Replacing that are brand-new touch screen controls for both MGS2 and MGS3.
Both games will be available for purchase at retail and on by digital download on the PlayStation network.
