Meet Our Newest Team Members, Trevor Rodenberger and Dean Marshall

Trevor and Dean

Here we go again: SonyRumors.net is moving full speed ahead and we’ve added some new members to our team to keep the momentum going! Each of our team members plays an integral role in our coverage for the community, and we are so excited to announce that Trevor Rodenberger (@captubaplayer) and Dean Marshall (@amdgcatholic) have stepped up to the plate and are ready to take on the world. We’ve always worked hard to provide you with the best PlayStation coverage, and Trevor has already started contributing to that with his weekly PlayStation Store Updates. We can’t wait to share Dean’s work with you; he’ll be writing tech articles that will be sure to boost our coverage. We’ve also recently added two other members to our team (Heather Atkinson and Sam Castanon), who you can read about here. We hope that you’ll welcome Trevor and Dean into our little family; we’re thrilled to have them here. Want to know what we’re getting ourselves into? Check out their bios after the break!

Trevor is ready to start:

Hi everyone! My name is Trevor and I am excited to join the team. I have been playing video games since I was 4 years old when I would play Burger Time with my dad on our Intellivision II. My parents were then generous enough (See: Spoiled Child) to give me a new video game console every Christmas until I was in high school. The most important aspect of a video game to me is the story and my favorite game of all time is Chrono Trigger. I have owned each of the Playstation consoles/handhelds and the Playstation 4 will be a day one purchase for me. In my spare time I am also married, the owner of a great rescue dog, and a high school band director. I can’t wait to get started and to begin interacting with all of you!

Dean is excited to be here:

Dean hails from Citrus Heights, California, and is a native of the Sacramento Valley. He loves all things tech, and one of the first items on his schedule in the morning, after all the usual stuff, is checking out the latest tech news from around the web. He disassembled his first computer (and put it back together) when he was a young boy and hasn’t looked back since. He often has at least a few devices in tow, whether it’s his Android phone, iPad, laptop, or other various gadgets. He is also a gamer, focusing mostly on PC titles.

Dean is an amateur Tolkien scholar, a complete Trekkie, and when he’s not hunting down the coolest gadgets, he probably has a fishing line in the water or his nose in a good book. His favorite subjects inside and outside of technology include PC, Mac, Linux, consumer electronics, Android, philosophy, literature, and theology. A holder of a B.A. in Philosophy from a Catholic seminary, a former technology manager for a local school, and a self-proclaimed hobbit, he also has a deep love for the written word.
