Sony did not reveal when the PS4 will launch in their home country of Japan, or any other Asia territories. The Tokyo Game Show in September may give us an idea as to the launch plans for this important region.
Regardless of where you purchase the PlayStation 4, the system will be region-free upon launch, allowing those who just can’t wait to pick up Sony’s next-gen system to import it should they choose to.
