According to Sony, come November 15th, you can expect the dedicated PlayStation 4 app to be ready for download on your favorite iOS device. The native iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch app will allow you to control game or use it for second screen experience, browse and cue downloads to your console. Other features will include the ability to see your friends list and interact with them in a variety of ways. Sony expanded:
Users will also be able to view and interact with PlayStation Network information through the What’s New feature, such as seeing what friends are playing, and accept and send multiplayer invites. The app will also display PSN Trophy information, feature chat capabilities with friends and offer access to the PlayStation Store. It will also include Twitter and Facebook integration.
In edition to iOS devices, Sony will also be releasing the companion app on Android devices though your experience may very. There is no report on whether Sony plans to support Windows 8 mobile devices though purely due to low market share, that remains skeptical. I’d also mention BlackBerry but no need to go there.

Are you looking forward to using companion apps with the PS4 or will most of your interaction be directly with the console?
