The Sony Xperia M (C1904/C1905) has been updated from its initial launch firmware of 15.1.A.1.9 to 15.1.C.1.17. It remains on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean but should offer improvements in a number of areas.
The details of the code suggest that this is a relatively minor update though the first few updates after launch tend to sort out any major annoyances that users may have. The change in digits from 1.9 to 1.17 suggests relatively minor bug fixes or improvements.

A small number of users that experienced unexpected rebooting issues have reported that the issue has now been fixed. Many users complained of ‘blue tint‘ issues with the camera or screen though it’s unclear from Sony’s Twitter comments if that has been altered. Sony frequently comments on firmware changes or upgrade plans using their Twitter account @SonyMobileNews. It’s likely that in coming weeks the update will spread across each region rapidly so even if your country isn’t listed, it could have the update already. Feel free to list your country in the comments below if you have the update or if you noticed any other changes.
