While there is plenty to be excited about when it comes to E3 with Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studios expected to reveal major titles, one key PlayStation developer won’t be part of the celebration. Media Molecule, the studio behind the beloved LittleBigPlanet franchise, won’t be attending the show.
E3 is right around the corner, how exciting! Sadly we’re not showing anything this year, but we’re sending high-fives to everyone who is! <3

While disappointing at first, it doesn’t mean the team isn’t working on something for gamers and they can’t wait to show you.
We’ve got a whole lotta fun to show you later though, and we simply *cannot wait* – so hold on tight, it won’t be too much longer 🙂

Though it remains to be seen if we’ll see a glimpse of their new title this year, one thing is clear, that the team is working on a new title for the PlayStation. Mm last released LittleBigPlanet 2 on the PS3 in 2011 and Tearaway on PS Vita in 2013. So remember, this doesn’t necessarily mean that LittleBigPlanet 3 isn’t in works for the PS4, but that the team simply isn’t ready to reveal their next game, be it LBP3 or a new IP.
Discuss:
Would you like to see a new IP from Media Molecule or have the team return to their roots with LittleBigPlanet 3?
