Something is coming. We can expect to be wowed. By season, we’re likely talking about the summer, right? (summer up here, winter down there!) “Next Big Thing” … that’s not ‘king of flagship’ language, is it? Something wearable then? There are only two things in the image that Sony Mobile provided; a smartphone and a lady. Girlfriend with every smartphone?? 😛

Update – Sony has revealed what the surprise is; they teamed up with photographer Benjamin Kaufmann to create the Xperia T3.

Over at Sony Mobile they just posted the above image with the title: “Shh… do you want to know a secret? Stay tuned for the next big thing this season.” That’s not ‘king of the jungle’ language, that can’t be a flagship. “Next Big Thing” … it sounds fashionable, right? Both of the terms ‘big thing’ and ‘season’ are distinctly fashion related lingo. An accessory or wearable perhaps?

There are no major events for the industry coming in June (here or here) so it’s not an industry-reveal, Sony Mobile will announce something independently it seems.
