The Last of Us Remastered isn’t coming out till the 29th of July on the PlayStation 4 but that doesn’t mean Naughty Dog isn’t hard at work tweaking their highly-praised game. Once the game is released, which will technically be tonight at midnight, gamers can expect to download The Last of Us Remastered patch 1.01 that brings it some promised additions like a ‘Photo Mode’ and a locked 30fps option.
After the jump, we reveal all the changes that are coming with The Last of Us Remastered patch 1.01.
The Last of Us Remastered will be available to gamers either on Blu-ray or as a digital download. Keep in mind the latter option will take up nearly 50GB of your PS4 hard drive. Luckily patch 1.01 comes in at a much smaller 142MB and is a mediatory install. The The Last of Us Remastered patch 1.01 brings with it:
Single Player:
- Added “Photo Mode” (accessed via the in-game Pause Menu) – allows adjustment of camera and rendering effects for shared screenshots.
- Added “Grounded: The Making of The Last of Us” documentary (accessed via the Cinematic Gallery).
- Enables higher quality shadows in-game while the 30 Frames Per Second lock (accessible via the Display options) is active.
- Implemented various improvements and bug fixes.
Multiplayer:
- Fixed bug where player would not get stunned by a smoke bomb when in the middle of hitting another player with a modded 2×4.
- Fixed rare bug where player would hang on a black screen after late-joining a match in Survivors.
- Fixed bug where player would sometimes stay on a black screen when waiting to respawn in interrogation mode.
While The Last of Us Remastered will be available on the 29th in the US, those in Europe will have to wait till week’s end before they can get the latest from Naughty Dog.
