With DriveClub approaching its October 8th release date, we’re learning more and more about the driving simulator. One such revelation was the game’s modest 17GB install size for those opting for digital download. Better yet, the game can be played as soon as 3.5GB have been downloaded while the rest of the game continues to download in the background. Best of all, to help support the game for some time to come, Evolution Studios will be releasing one free car a month between October 2014 and June 2015.

When released, DriveClub will give you access to 55 routes over 25 tracks. In addition to the free cars which will be offered, Evolution Studios is also

 bringing you more new tracks to enjoy and all of them will be free. 

Alongside the free content, DriveClub will also see several DLC packages which will include new cars and new campaign tour expansions. While exact pricing of DLC has yet to be announced, there will be

 a Season Pass for $24.99/€24.99, which ends up saving you more than 60% over buying all the packs separately (they estimate the total value of the packs is $75.84/€75.84). 

Keep in mind that PlayStation Plus members will get a less content-filled version of DriveClub for free on PS4. Those wanting the full game are still looking at $59.99, though PS+ members will get a $10 discount.
