At E3, we were all spoiled by the Uncharted 4 vehicle chase gameplay which was a near 7-minute sequence that not only showcased the power of the PS4, but the wizardry of Naughty Dog. On the show floor, Naughty Dog also demoed an extended gameplay which continued where the 7-minute stage sequence ended.
Those who were lucky enough to see it have unanimously agreed that what takes place after is even crazier and more ambitious, and now Naughty Dog will be releasing the extended look for all of our viewing pleasure. Thing is, Josh Scherr thinks you might be best served by not watching it.
While Sony spoiled us by showing the glorious gameplay during E3, Josh Scherr, writer on Uncharted 4 believes that what takes place afterwards will spoil us but in a different manner. While a visual feast, the extended gameplay contains spoilers for the story by revealing a key moment in the game and if you’re planning on purchasing Uncharted 4, you might be best served by not viewing it.
Just a reminder: the extended #Uncharted4 demo contains what many would consider SPOILERS for the story & moments in the game…

…but if you’re on the fence about it, tune in at 11am PST for the full demo. 🙂 http://t.co/XSD51m4ULs — Josh Scherr (@joshscherr) July 1, 2015
Seeing how most movie trailer and now gameplay trailers reveal key moments, I’m inclined to agree wholeheartedly with Scherr. If you’re already sold on Uncharted 4 like myself, chances are that you didn’t even need a trailer, seeing how well the previous installments have turned out. Of course since the game’s announcement, we’ve seen two different gameplay videos and if that didn’t sell you, nothing else Sony shows will. But if you are sold, then why have key parts of the game be spoiled for you? Instead, I say let’s all sit back, relax, and let the game take us over with the surprises it has in store.

Are trailers getting too spoilerish or will you be watching the extended reveal?
