Some members of the community are reporting issues with PSN today. At this time, it doesn’t appear to be a widespread issue and personally, I haven’t had a problem logging onto PSN and getting games like Destiny up and running. Still, Sony seems aware of the matter and is looking into it.

Even Bungie is aware of the outage, though, the issue, which currently appears to be limited, is not from their end and is in fact from PSN. According to the PSN status page, everything appears to be online and running smoothly. If the situation escalates, I’ll be sure to keep you updated.

We are aware of issues impacting some players’ ability to sign in to Destiny on PlayStation 4. We will update when we have more information.
