Naughty Dog wants you to move to LA. No, seriously. They’ve put together a 3 minute video showing what life’s like in Los Angeles (a place I also made the pilgrimage to) and what it’s like to be part of the studio. Naughty Dog is most famously known for the Uncharted franchise and The Last of Us with a back catalogue of classic games like Jak & Daxter. The video game industry is a highly competitive market, especially for talent that’s suited for AAA studios like Naughty Dog, so the video, which can be found after the jump, is designed to help give people a glimpse of the studio and life in LA from a different perspective.
As Naughty Dog gets closer to finishing the highly-anticipated Uncharted 4, rumors have begun to pop up about other projects at the studio like a followup to The Last of Us and perhaps even a revival of Jak & Daxter. Whatever the reasons, the studio has no shortage of positions that they’re looking to fill. You can find those positions via our source link.
As I mentioned, I made the move to LA myself nearly a decade ago and haven’t looked back. Yeah, traffic sucks but you get used to it and learn how to work around it. But the upside of no shortage of amazing movie theaters, restaurants, outdoor activities, concerts/conventions, and Disneyland frankly outweigh anything else. So if you think you have what Naughty Dog is looking for, I can’t think of a better studio and better city to be a part of.

Could you see yourself living in LA if you had the opportunity to work for a studio like Naughty Dog?
