For those unfamiliar, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on PS4 will features all three previous installments with better lighting, textures, and models that will run at 1080p/60fps. Visual improvements aside, you can also expect no difficulty options, trophies, and even a photo mode. However, unlike Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 which shipped with multiplayer, this collection will be missing those features.
Lets talk after the jump.
Be it on Blu-ray or digital download, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will lack any form of multiplayer. According to Sid Shuman, Senior Manager and Social Media at PlayStation:
It’s just the campaign stories, so sadly no co-op
Some good news does lie in all this in that those who purchase the game will get access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End beta. No word yet on its release date as the game itself still only has a vague early 2016 date attached to it. What does have a release date is Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection which will arrive on October 9th.
It’s worth pointing out that the above photo is from the original Uncharted 3.
