Originally destined for Asia, Sony has begun a slow expansion into Europe with the entry level Xperia C4. Unlike the premium mid-range Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5, the C4 is much more a traditional mid-range unit as its price reflects. Luckily Sony didn’t skimp on some of the more routinely-used features and packs a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
After the jump, details on price and availability.
Other note worthy specs for the Xperia C4 include
- Front & Rear flash
- 5.5-inch (1080 x 1920 pixel) IPS display
- Mediatek MT6752 chipset
- 1.7GHz octa-core processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- microSD memory card support
- 2600mAh battery
- 4G LTE
- Color – Black, White,
Mint
The Sony Xperia C4 is now available in countries like the UK & Greece where it’s actually been out for nearly 3 months. The C4 carries a £174.99 price tag while in Greece, the average price hovers around 220bp.
No word yet on which other European countries will get the C4 though I would’t be surprised if we saw a few more countries get the mid-range phone by year’s end. In another surprise move, Sony also released the flagship Xperia Z5 in India.
