CES, the perpetual tech mecca which takes place sometime during the first week of January, is once again upon us. Like every year, thousands of journalists, industry insiders, and others will make their pilgrimage to Las Vegas (including yours truly) to see what the tech year ahead of us will look like. Now we finally know the date and time for the Sony CES 2016 press conference which also translates to the fact that I can finally make my plans for the event.

As you can see from the photo above, Sony will kick off their press conference on January 5th, 5:00pm local time. In the image, we can see Sony teasing PlayStation VR, their Bluetooth speaker lightbulbs, h.ear (not a typo) headphones, Alpha cameras, smartphones, and X900C 4K TV.
