At CES 2016, Sony revealed their latest entry Action Cam, the AS50 and AS50R bundle with Live View Remote. Priced at $199 and $349 respectively, the latest from Sony – while lacking some of the higher-end features of the AS200 – still offers a compelling solution for those who want to record their latest adventures.

Professional snowboarder Jeremy Jones is such a person. His free fall snowboarding video, shot entirely on the Sony Action Cam, can be found after the jump.

 Beating the January blues this week Jeremy Jones took to the mountains in Alaska to freefall down the slopes, taking Sony’s Action Cam with him. You can see it for yourselves in this epic video, that got our hearts racing. Word of warning – don’t try it for yourself! 

It’s worth noting that it’s unclear which Action Cam was used on this video so it in fact could be the AS200. Either way, it goes to show you how impressive these little guys are.
