Listen up Guardians, Bungie has announced that, prior to E3, they plan on holding a ‘Destiny Reveal Stream’ where we’ll get our first glimpse at what’s to come next. Set to take place on Thursday, June 9th at 10 AM PT, the livestream will be:

 all about the next threat that you’ll confront as Guardians 

Leaks have suggested that come this fall, Bungie will release a new expansion pack dubbed ‘Rise of Iron‘ with Destiny 2 slated for some time in 2017. If that rumored timeframe holds true and there are no unforeseen delays, the sequel will also likely launch sometime in fall. The little birdies I’ve talked to have indicated to me that we’ll be getting new guns, strikes, and raids with Rise of Iron as the new DLC is expected to be bigger than Destiny’s first two expansions, The Dark Below and House of Wolves.
