Speaking with Japanese site AV Watch, Sony Interactive Entertainment President Andrew House commented on why we saw no leaks leading up to E3, including details about PlayStation 4 Neo and Death Stranding.
PR team has introduced a strict new information management system, and it has ‘begun with almost no [leaks] in its favor.’
Apparently House and company were so worried about leaks, especially the reveal of the new title by Kojima (Death Stranding) that they
limited the amount of people at rehearsal and didn’t even show the trailer
Though you’d figure that’d be standard policy by now. Coincidentally, PlayStation did just have a massive leak on the PS4 Neo with a majority of its specs out for the public to dig through. However as a whole, the division has done quite well in 2016 and nearly the entirety of the PS4 era. As for Sony Mobile, I’m not entirely sure why they don’t just host livestreams of their R&D departments.

Which Sony division do you think is best at managing leaks?
