Unless you’ve pre-ordered PlayStation VR, getting one on launch date is likely to be a challenge due to high demand and low inventory. Even those who’ve pre-ordered through Amazon are not guaranteed to get one on October 13th and could wait over a month for their headset to arrive. Luckily not all hope is lost thanks to Best Buy.

 In just two weeks, about 350 Best Buy stores across the country will open at 12:01 a.m. ET Oct. 13 so you can buy and experience PlayStation VR. that means stores will open at 11:01 p.m. Oct. 12 in the Central time zone, 10:01 p.m. Mountain time and 9:01 p.m. for those on the West Coast.

Find the store nearest you and plan accordingly. If you can’t get there for the early openings, fear not. There will be limited quantities of PlayStation VR available at each Best Buy store nationwide the next day, as well as on BestBuy.com. 

Besides Best Buy, it’s always worth looking at less sought after destinations like Toys R Us, Target, and Walmart though it’s unclear how much inventory they’ll have. Best Buy has put together a store locator for branches that will be hosting a PS VR midnight launch event.
