Infamous 2: Festival Of Blood Coming In November

It looks like Cole’s second Infamous adventure may not be finished quite yet. Just like Red Dead Redemption, Sucker Punch is hoping to supplement its seminal franchise with a (un)healthy dose of undead DLC. The company announced earlier this week that it will release Infamous 2: Festival of Blood to the PSN later this year. Hit the jump for more information on the Infamous 2: Festival of Blood DLC.

Festival of Blood is going to be a stand-alone DLC containing a brand-new storyline, new enemies, and more choices to make. A vampire plague consumes the city of New Marais, and Cole has one night to figure out a way to save the city, and himself in the process. It seems earlier that night, Cole had an unfortunate run-in with a vampire and ended up getting bitten.

Just like Read Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare, this should bring a darker edge to the Infamous franchise by taking Cole through a desperate fight to save his life and his city. Expect to fight and survive through some harrowing and deadly situations when Festival of Blood comes out later this year.

Sucker Punch has said that players do not need an Infamous 2 save to play through Festival of Blood and that the DLC will release in time for Halloween.
