Support the 5th Annual Autism Speaks Charity

Fringe and LOST fans are probably no stranger to podcast award winners, Jay and Jack, who’ve over the years have led an outstanding LOST podcast, which has covered the now over but highly beloved series. Of course, the duo didn’t hang up their capes after the show’s awesome finale and continued to cover other shows like Fringe, Firefly and entirely new show called Jay and Jack TV where they cover the week’s TV shows and break them down for analysis. Suffice to say, if you like TV shows like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Alcatraz, Homeland, and more, this podcast is for you.

Over the years, they’ve also expanded with shows like Three Stupid Guys which has Jay, Jack, Russ, Mike, and Matt discuss the NFL season and more. So whether you’re a newcomer to the NFL (like me) or  the NCAA, this show is a good way to learn and listen to sport discussions. Lastly, a favorite of mine is the Married Man Show, which we advise clearing the children from the room before listening to which helps you with your questions and gives you relationship advice.

So what do these podcasting champions do with their spare time once a year? They put together a 30-hour Autism Speaks podcast which helps raise money and awareness for Autism. Now in its 5th year, guests like Damon Lindelof (LOST, Star Trek, Prometheus), Jorge Garcia (LOST, Alcatraz), and Ed Hochuli (NFL referee) have been on the air with repeats of their interviews planned throughout the 30 hours. The goal this year is to raise $10,000 which sees every penny go towards Autism.

Coming up at 8:00pm (PST) is Jo Garfein, aka Jopinionated will be on to talk about LOST and Alcatraz with plenty of swag to give away like that pictured below.
