As you guys may have realized, over the last week, our site has been having some issues. Users have experienced downtime, delays, and other odd behaviors. While it might be easy to chalk this up to being understaffed, the real reasoning is quite different. Due to lack of proper funding and support, we’ve been quietly working with the Samsung community to create a website for them. It’s ironic that Samsung has been slowly surpassing Sony in different market shares and it seems like community support is next.

Starting today and taking place over the next month, our site will slowly transition over to being SamsungRumors.net, which means we can still keep our SRN tag. Under the new SRN, you can expect the same great content, forums and features but instead of Sony products, we will instead cover Apple’s Samsung’s original products. After seeing Apple Samsung come up with so many original tablet, computer and smartphone designs, I felt compelled to start covering this now hot brand.

I thank our community who has stuck with us throughout the years and hope you will continue to stick with us through this transition.

Sorry folks, I couldn’t resist and, as you can tell, the staff wasn’t in on this either. Now that I’ve put our old logo back and showered 5 times, I feel a little better now.
