Sony has just released the PlayStation Vita system software update 2.61 for your downloading pleasure. As noted by the release number, the new firmware update is a fairly minor one and according to Sony, the
system software stability during use of some features has been improved
While Sony hasn’t officially stated it, the new update likely addresses security holes as well to thwart piracy on the console.
