We all like convenience because, well, it makes our life more convenient. Companies also like to offer convenient ways for their customers to shop because it likely means that they will shop more. With that, Sony has announced that, as of today, you can directly connect your PayPal account to your SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) wallet and use that as a method of purchasing on the PlayStation 3.
If this sounds vaguely familiar, that’s because Sony began using PayPal as a payment option in January. However, till now, you could only link your SEN/PSN account to PayPal by visiting the online portal and adding funds that way. Now, you can do this directly from your PS3 (and maybe soon the PS4?).
To connect the two accounts, simply:
- Navigate to your cart on PlayStation Store
- Click “Add Funds”
- Click “PayPal”
- Transfer desired amount
With the new option, you can add funds between $5 and $150 at any given time which can then be used on any purchase you’d like.
