While the PS4 is not quite out yet, it doesn’t mean that there isn’t a handful of ways that you can get ready for the console. To help build up to its November 15th launch, Sony is slowly releasing content that will improve your PS4 experience, like the PlayStation App that will be released on iOS and Android devices on Nov. 13th. But if the 13th also seems to far away, then listen up. Sony has just released KNACK’s Quest for iPhone and iPod Touch (sorry iPad users, but there is no native version of the app) that will help tide you over until the game is released on the PS4 launch date. Let’s talk details after the jump.

The free app that’s now available on the App Store is a puzzle game with hints of Bejeweled. However, there is far more to the game than first appears. While the game can be played as a means to kill time, it will also have rewards and bonuses like collecting parts for Knack to help him grow. Items that are unlocked within the app will then be able to be synced over to the PS4 and used in Knack with a future update to the app. According to Sony:

 The Item Send function will be available in the next software update. 

This means that if you’re looking to pick up Knack for the PS4 and have an iOS device, there is no reason for you not to download this game and get a head start on Knack.
