Klei Entertainment has just finished bringing their wonderful indie title Don’t Starve to the PlayStation 4. Better yet, during the month of January, the game will be free for all PS+ members, giving you no excuse to miss it. Now, thanks to a tweet from the games developers, we might get to see the creative and haunting game appear on the PlayStation Vita.
When a fan tweeted the company that he’d love to see a native version of the game on the PlayStation Vita, the studio responded:
@Drekner We’re focusing on getting PS4 out first, but we think it would be neat too! We’re looking at if it’s possible to do. Maybe? haha

While this in no shape ensures that a Vita title is on the way, let alone in development, it does give you hope with Klei not outright denying or striking down the idea. Smaller indie titles have also been a boon on the Vita so the combination does make sense, especially when you consider so many developers praising the Vita’s easy game development environment. If you’d like to see this happen, be sure to tweet the Klei team and share your passion for the game on Sony’s powerful portable with them. It’s worth noting that the above image was Photoshopped by yours truly and is not some leaked screenshot.
