While the PlayStation Move never seemed to connect with core consumers, there has been little doubt about the potential that it could offer. Praised by many developers for its ease of use and accuracy, Sony may once again be looking to bring the peripheral to the PlayStation 4. Fueled by a much more powerful hardware and software, Sony is showing off two new augmented reality demos out of its PlayStation lab in Japan. What makes the above demo so impressive is the fluidity of the animation which is being processed in real time and the quality of the visuals that accompany it. With Project Morpheus (the virtual reality headset for the PS4) on the horizon, the PlayStation Move could further extend the capabilities of the PS4 and future VR experiences.
After the jump, one more augmented reality demo from Sony, showcasing the processing and rendering power of the PS4 with lighting affects.
