The PlayStation 4 exclusive Resogun is receiving a major update in preparation for that last DLC Expansion to the game named ‘Defenders’. Now what exactly will come with both the DLC and the update? We have the details and more for you, after the jump.
Firstly, the update will not only improve the performance and features of the game itself but also come packed with the ‘Challengers’ DLC for FREE. So If you purchase Resogun today or have it install on your PS4 go ahead, and grab that free DLC. The Defenders DLC will arrive February 17th at the low price of $4.99. Those who want more from Resogun will find plenty of content coming with Defenders.
The Defenders DLC will bring two game modes Protector and Commando.
Commando – You play as the last human armed with only a machine gun as you face the onslaught of aliens. Meteor strikes and waves of enemies await you in the endless survival like Commando game mode. As an added bonus you can play co-op with a friend or try to play against them in Commando. Though when you select the competitive mode it’s called Battle Mode.
Protector – You play in your ship for this one as you try to defend the last colony on the planet. Teleport, Super Boost and automatic city defences are only some of the new boosts that will be included into this game mode. Try to deliver as many humans to the colony as possible.
The Challengers update will revamp the leveling system and provide more fun challenges for users. So for those who have platinum this game will come back with even more to play and trophies will be added with Defenders DLC and the Challengers DLC. Some lesser features that add a little flair to the game are a Human gallery and a Photo mode. All the human types in the games will be visible through the Human Gallery. The photo mode will capture those key moments when everything is exploding. This will end up being a huge update bringing a little bit of everything and with the Defender DLC coming as well there is even more to do.
