If you’ve been paying attention to the gaming sector this past year, you’ll note a little bit of drama between legendary game developer Hideo Kojima and his long time publisher, Konami. Once inseparable, the two will see each other part ways after the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Kojima and Konami have already had a very public falling out with Konami performing petty things such as removing the creators name from websites and content having to do with Metal Gear.
With already a high cinematic flair, many wondered what Kojima would do after MGS5 is released. His comments after the jump.
Having just turned 52 with his largest game ever almost upon us, many have wondered what Kojima would do next. On Twitter, Kojima had the following to say
Thanks everyone, I turned 52 and will keep creating in rest of my life.

Though not specific and left open to interruption (like many of his games), it seems clear that Kojima wants to continue to create. Now wether this means games or something else is anyones guess. Luckily for us, with Konami out of the way and Kojima still a young man by todays standards, his best work could still be ahead of him. Ranking the MGS franchise and Zone of Enders as some of my favorite titles, I’m eager to see what the talented creator does next. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released on September first on PS3 and PS4.
