Much like the Xperia Z3+ (Z4) received a Style Cover Window case from Sony, so will the Xperia Z5 family. Designed to accommodate the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, and Xperia Z5 Premium, the Style Cover Window cases take everything you’ve known about them from previous models and built them to fit the new varying screen sizes.

Designed to fully protect the Xperia Z5, the Style Cover Window cases are wate- (IPX5/8) and scratch- (3H) resistant, making them durable for everyday use. Thanks to an opening in the front, up to five customizable widgets can be easily accessed (seen below) without the need to flip open the case. Some have wondered if a case like this would disrupt usage of NFC and we’re happy to report that it will not. This means that syncing with devices is still as easy as tapping them. The cases use the following model number scheme:

The Style Cover Window cases will be available in the phones’ respective colors. Sony has yet to announce a release date, though it’s likely to be tied to the Xperia Z5’s release.
