In the past two months, Sony unfolded a fairly aggressive rollout strategy for their high-end mid-range Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 throughout Asia. With the phone have launched in many of its intended countries, the Japanese giant is now turning its attention towards its most recent flagship device, the Xperia Z5 family.
Beginning today, those in Singapore and Hong Kong can pre-order the Xperia Z5 with a lot of goodies to go along with them. After the jump, we reveal the bonus add-ons and Z5 pricing.
Pre-orders are now available for the Xperia Z5 family in Singapore though pricing and availability will differ between models. Those who do pre-order can expect to get the Micro USB Charging Dock (pictured right) free of charge. On top of that, if you’re in the market for a headphone, you’ll be able to get the for MDR-NC750 Hi-Res Headset (pictured above) for S$49. All incentives are valid till October 11th after which the deals will disappear. Pricing and availability is as follows:
- Xperia Z5 – S$998 (£460, €625, $701)
- Sometime in October
- Xperia Z5 Compact – S$828
- Sometime in October
- Xperia Z5 Premium – S$1,098
- Sometime in November
Please note that the ‘S’ next to the price is not a typo and instead designed to help differentiate their currency from the US currency.
Much like Singapore, the Xperia Z5 is also available for pre-order in Hong Kong. It’s worth noting that there is a difference in goodies with Hong Kong only receiving a screen protector. That means no free DK52 charging dock though Sony is providing an undisclosed discount on that and the MDR-NC750 Headset. Pricing goes a little something like this
- Xperia Z5 – HK$ 5,698 (£483, €655, $735)
- Sometime in October
- Xperia Z5 Dual – HK$ 5,698 (£483, €655, $735)
- Sometime in October
- Xperia Z5 Compact – HK$ 4,798 (£406, €552, $619).
- Sometime in October
There’s no word yet when or if the Xperia Z5 Premium will be arriving in Hong Kong. To promote the Z5 launch, Sony is providing various incentives like a free pair of their MDR-10RC headphones in the Nordics while those in France will be able to get the Hi-Res Audio Headset MDR-NC750 for free.
