Meet the Turtle Beach Ear Force Elite 800 for PS3 and PS4

Turtle_ Beach_Ear_Force_Elite_800Turtle Beach, the premium headset maker, is debuting new headsets for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Dubbed the Ear Force Elite 800, this new headset features active noise cancellation microphone and 7.1 surround sound to give you an immersive experience beyond normal headsets.

Those who hate wires will also be happy about the inclusion of Bluetooth, making it easier to keep your gaming area cleaner or at least have one less cord during gameplay. Because of Bluetooth, the Ear Force Elite 800 can also sync to your smartphone for phone calls and music consumption.

Personally, Bluetooth zone makes this headset a winner. It’s sad that the official PlayStation headset still relies on USB when both the PS3 and PS4 come with Bluetooth built in, making syncing easy while also freeing up the previous USB ports on our powerful consoles.

After the jump, we’ve got more details.

E3: Is LittleBigPlanet 3 Also Coming to the PS3?

E3_2014_LBP_3Being in the right place at the right time got us the opportunity to reveal LittleBigPlanet 3 prior to the game’s announcement at E3. Since that time, we’ve come to learn that LittleBigPlanet 3 is coming to the PlayStation 4 and will allow gamers to play the over 7 million levels created by the community in the previous two installments with improved graphics. The fact that LBP 3 was coming to PS4 wasn’t all that surprising, seeing how Sony announced months back that all first party studios had begun developing exclusively on the PS4. Now, it seems like there is hope for LittleBigPlanet 3 to arrive on PlayStation 3 as well.

E3: ‘inFAMOUS: First Light’ Puts a Female in Lead

inFamous_Second_Son_First_Light_02As unfortunate as it is, despite a healthy female audience, not many games star a female as a lead. In the last decade, only a handful of titles like Final Fantasy XIII, Tomb Raider, and Heavenly Sword have featured a female lead while most recently, Naughty Dog made Ellie a star in The Last of Us though she wasn’t the main star of the game either. Ellie does however play a very important part in the story and the DLC that would follow has her as the lead. Now Sucker Punch is taking a cue from Naughty Dog by featuring a female as lead in the world of inFamous: Second Son with a new twist.

After the jump, details and the world premier trailer await you.
